Pauldrons for big guts

Post by Thubin » Tue Nov 14, 2017 2:34 am

Hey everyone. I am curious as to how large the pauldron should be for those of us with... extra beer storage around our belly. I imagine these are not one size fits all. Any larger gunners out there that can give some pointers?

Also, is there an electronic version of the pattern out there somewhere. The thread tracking the physical pattern seems to have just kind of petered out.

Thanks!!

The pauldron should cover the chest and end about 2 or 3 inches above the belt (ideally). You can check the measurement section of Christie's (aka Woopdedoo) Fanmade Bib thread in the Other Part Run section. All of her bibs are custom made.

There is not a pattern available, unfortunately. But, if you're handy with sewing, it shouldn't be that difficult to fabricate. I am not well-versed in pattern making, though, but it's a very simple structure.
