Antenna help

Post by Blue-Redback » Mon Jan 22, 2018 2:12 pm

Hi all so I got an Antenna from someone who got me lights for the comm box and I'm not sure if its long enough at all for the kit. Could anybody help me at all please I am really in need of help. It only goes to 205mm if I put it to the very edge of the 3d printed stopper and does it need to exactly be 250mm?

I second this - I have a couple of backups in my bin as well because mine is removeable :)

The visible portion of the antenna should be 6" to 8" (15cm to 20cm) in length. Diameter is around 3 to 4.5mm. I use aluminum rods purchased at hobby stores from the RC airplane section.
