Re: Jacket question

Yes custom props does good work. I have several people in my garrison with their vader leathers and I strongly recommend them. Another alternative is (fenix props), which is extremely similar and also available on ebay.

Re: Code Cylinder Styles

And I'm sorry if I come off as blunt on this issue but it comes up all the time and I am fundamentally against accuracy levels as a tiered rewards system because of what it represents. The 501st is supposed to be a charity first organization and over the years that has been slowly slipping away in f...

Re: Code Cylinder Styles

You upgraded your gunner because you wanted to. I always felt that if you need accuracy levels to feel validation by others you are doing this for the wrong reason. I don't see a need for levels, if you want to make it the best you can it should be done because you want to do it for yourself, not to...

Re: Need help finding a helmet

I would say anywhere between $200-$250 for an assembled bucket and 170-180 range for a raw kit.

Re: Clean and Care for Flight suit

It doesn't even need to be cold water. I have a wampa wear, moncal and a cosplaysky suit and have washed them over 50 times on a regular hot water cycle and they are just fine. I wouldn't worry about it. Also you really only need to turn it inside out if you have vinyl cogs on it to keep them from b...

Re: Helmet - Screws or Rivets

My entire helmet is assembled using screws. I would always recommend them over rivets(barring screen accuracy), for the simple reason that you can easily disassemble the helmet to transport it, clean it or make repairs. So if you can do it without sacrificing screen accuracy, screws are always the w...

Re: Help with the decal

I tend to make the cut where I put the green line. I find it to be a little less noticeable and there is less material you have cut through. But either way works fine! NBWuVQx.png you can even use moncal decals. I don't know exactly how he does it but none of his cogs are ever cut. He must get them...

They mean to just cut it here.

When you fold it over this area will be slightly smaller than the others but it won't be very noticeable.
